Ident for Production Company
I decided to created an ident for our production company. We started off by choosing a name that could connote what happens in our hybrid film genre, an action/thriller.
I decided to look online at other film posters and idents to have a look at the types of names and fonts I could use.
Tinika and I brainstormed some names as you can see below...

After brainstorming, we decided to ask for some feedback from our peers. This was done through the use of a tally chart as we went around three media classes, one year 13 class (students aging between 17-18), one year 12 class (students aging between 16-17), and one year 11 class (students aging between 15-16). That gave us 75 votes.
Here are the results below:
As you can see, Bittersweet Productions was voted our production company name with 28 votes. This is perfect as there was not another production company who was voted anywhere near as much as Bittersweet Productions.
As it was voted so highly, I went on to look up fonts on a website. I wanted to find a font that would not look plain and could easily be found from Microsoft Word therefore, I found a website and managed to obtain the font I ended up using from this site. The font was called Sprinlescolours by Des and was obtained from this website: http://www.fontspace.com/category/handwriting?p=6
After I obtained my font, I went on to create an animated ident for our production company, Bittersweet Productions. I created our ident on Serif Draw PlusX6.
After a lot of trails on the animation, I finally decided I wanted to change the opacity of the second triangle. This is due to the fact I wanted a basic yet eye catching animation.
Once I had created this, I changed the speed of the opacity as it look too long and looked a little bit robotic like and I wanted it to flow. Therefore, I changed it from 100ms to 50ms. This then proved to be too quick and looked as though it was rushing the colour change. I showed it to some of my peers and they suggested instead of changing each slide to 75ms, I should clone a few of the lighter colour slides to make the colour change a little longer. I did as they said and it worked out perfectly.
